1.1 These Terms govern use of the Site only — its content, contact forms, and general informational resources. They are not a service agreement.

1.2 TRC's regulatory reporting, compliance, and platform services (including ESMA/FCA Article 7 reporting, SEC 17g-5 compliance support, Annex XVI transition assistance, dual-path processing, and TRC FileVault) are provided to clients under separately negotiated and signed service agreements, statements of work, or engagement letters. Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer to provide services, and no binding service relationship is created by browsing the Site or submitting a contact form.

1.3 If you are an existing client, your use of TRC's reporting platform and any data submitted through it are governed by your signed service agreement, not these Terms.

2. Use of the Site

2.1 You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2.2 You agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape, or systematically extract content from the Site using automated means, except as permitted by robots.txt;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its underlying systems, or any connected client portal;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site or the servers or networks connected to it;
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any contact form on the Site, or use the contact form to send unsolicited advertising or spam.

2.3 The Site includes anti-spam safeguards on its contact forms, including a hidden honeypot field, a minimum time-on-page check, and rate limiting by IP address. Attempting to circumvent these safeguards is a violation of these Terms.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and page design — is the property of The Reporting Company, LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

3.2 You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

4. No Professional or Regulatory Advice

The Site's content — including descriptions of ESMA, FCA, and SEC 17g-5 requirements — is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. You should not rely on Site content as a substitute for advice from qualified counsel or your own compliance function regarding your specific obligations.

The Site may link to or embed third-party services, including Google Fonts and Spotify. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites or services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.

THIS LIMITATION DOES NOT AFFECT ANY SEPARATE LIABILITY TERMS AGREED IN A SIGNED CLIENT SERVICE AGREEMENT.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TRC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect information submitted through the Site.
